Wallets
Which wallets work with Sprout, how connecting works, and address formats.
Connect the wallet you already use. Sprout never holds your keys, and nothing leaves your wallet unless you approve it.
Supported wallets
Sprout works with Phantom, Solflare and Backpack on Solana. Hardware wallets connect through them.
Connecting
Choose Connect wallet in the app. Your wallet asks you to sign a short message proving the address is yours. Signing a message is free, isn’t a transaction, and can’t move funds.
Your plans belong to the wallet you sent from. Connect the same wallet to see them, make payments or manage autopay.
Address formats
Sprout checks every address before you can send. A Solana address is 32 to 44 base58 characters. Base58 leaves out look-alike characters such as 0, O, I and l. An address that starts with 0x belongs to another network, and Sprout won’t accept it.
8zRMvjb8WbkvM1RUyCzcy6yM2gvo7wu6Tc38G2422D9k.sol names
You can type a .sol name instead, like maya.sol. Sprout looks up the address it points to and shows it beside the name before you confirm. The money goes to that address.
Keeping your wallet safe
Sprout will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, in the app, by email, or anywhere else. See Security.
