Privacy Policy

Draft for preview — not legal terms. This placeholder shows how Sprout’s privacy policy will read. It hasn’t been reviewed by counsel and isn’t an agreement with anyone.

Sprout is built around your own wallet, so we need far less about you than most financial apps. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to run your plans, and not much else.
  • We never ask for, see or store your private keys or recovery phrase.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.
  • Onchain activity is public by nature. That’s true of every wallet, not just Sprout.

What we collect

Wallet information. The public addresses you connect and send to, and the transactions linked to your plans.

Plan details. Amounts, terms, schedules, payments and autopay settings.

Device and usage data. Basic information like browser type, pages visited and approximate region, used to keep Sprout working and secure.

What you tell us. If you email us or sign up for updates, we keep your email address and what you send.

What we don’t collect

We never collect your private keys, recovery phrase or wallet password. Sprout will never ask for them. If anyone claiming to be us does, it isn’t us.

How we use it

  • to send funds, schedule payments and run autopay;
  • to send reminders before payments are due;
  • to set limits, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations;
  • to understand how Sprout is used, so we can make it better.

Onchain data is public

Transfers and payments happen on Solana, a public blockchain. Anyone can see the addresses and amounts involved. We can’t change or delete data that’s been written to it.

Who we share it with

We share information only when we need to:

  • with service providers who help us run Sprout, under contracts that limit what they can do with it;
  • when the law requires it, or to protect our users and Sprout from fraud or harm;
  • if Sprout is part of a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

[Placeholder: list of service-provider categories to be confirmed.]

How long we keep it

We keep plan records for as long as a plan is open, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. [Placeholder: retention periods to be confirmed.]

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and opt out of non-essential emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. Email help@sproutpay.cc and we’ll respond within the time the law requires.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. [Placeholder: analytics tools, if any, to be listed here.]

Children

Sprout isn’t for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, for meaningful changes, let you know.
